Rebecca,
What a wonderful sentiment. As you point out, most of us in the US have lost this family centered celebration of renewal. In the rosicrucian Order that I belong to (rosicrucian.org), the high point of our year is the celebration at the spring equinox, and is our Rosicrucian New Year beginning. The emphasis is on renewal, rebirth, redemption and a new year.

Thank you, Tom. Yes, rebirth at Spring and the cycles of life are universal themes which cross religious beliefs and spiritual groups. I hope we, as a whole, start paying more attention to what is universal rather than what is different.
